George Brooks

George Brooks is a prolific saxophonist and composer acclaimed for bridging jazz and Indian classical music. He founded the Indo-jazz fusion group Summit with Zakir Hussain and Steve Smith, and has studied extensively with Hindustani vocal master Pandit Pran Nath. Brooks has performed internationally at major venues and collaborated with artists including Terry Riley, John McLaughlin, and Etta James.
