Multi-talented composer and instrumentalist Rachel Flowers was born December 21, 1993, and lost her sight as an infant due to Retinopathy of Prematurity. Beginning piano at age two and studying formally from age four, she has become an acclaimed jazz pianist, classical flutist, and keyboardist, mentored by jazz legends including Herbie Hancock and recognized worldwide for her genre-defying approach to composition and performance.
