Esteban Castro

Esteban Castro is a talented pianist and composer based in Brooklyn who began his jazz journey at age 6 and quickly established himself as a prodigious talent. A Juilliard graduate on full scholarship studying with Fred Hersch, Castro has performed internationally as both a bandleader and in-demand sideman, winning the Montreux Jazz Piano Solo Competition at age 13 (the youngest ever) and earning multiple Downbeat Student Music Awards and ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer Awards.
