Erick 'Jesus' Coomes is a Los Angeles-based bassist and co-founder of the funk and jam collective Lettuce, formed at Berklee College of Music in 1992. A prolific session and touring musician, he has recorded with hip-hop and R&B artists including Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Talib Kweli, and Anthony Hamilton, blending influences from rap, neo-soul, gospel, and rock music.
