Brooklyn-born tenor saxophonist Eric Wyatt grew up immersed in jazz, mentored by his father Charles Wyatt and influenced by family friend Sonny Rollins. Since his 1997 debut album God Son, Wyatt has established himself as a dedicated bandleader and educator, known for his robust tenor sound and post-bop releases including Borough of Kings (2014) and Look to the Sky (2017).
