Jazz vocalist, arranger, and bandleader Emily Day has been performing jazz since age 16. Based in San Francisco, she leads the swing band Cosmo Alleycats and the Emily Day Swingtet, combining deep knowledge of jazz standards with her distinctive whiskey-tinged voice and vocal acrobatics. She holds a BFA in Jazz Voice from The New School and an MA in Popular Music Studies from the University of Liverpool.
