Dexter Williams is a San Francisco-based upright bass player whose style is deeply rooted in traditional jazz, swing, gypsy jazz, and bebop. A Sacramento Jazz Education Foundation alumnus who began his professional career at age 16, he performs regularly with Bay Area ensembles including the Hot Club of San Francisco and Le Jazz Hot, while also teaching jazz combos at Stanford University.
