Deszon Claiborne

A Bay Area native, Deszon Claiborne is a drummer and educator who began playing at age ten and studied with world-renowned drummers including Billy Cobham and Kenneth Nash. He has performed and recorded with artists spanning jazz, blues, and world music, including Peter Apfelbaum, Don Cherry, Les McCann, and Taj Mahal, while also teaching at institutions like Berkeley Jazz School and Stanford Jazz Camp.
