The Dazz Band is an American R&B and funk group that emerged from Cleveland, Ohio in 1976, evolving from the jazz fusion band Bell Telefunk. Founded by saxophonist Bobby Harris, the band achieved their biggest success in the early 1980s with the Grammy Award-winning hit 'Let It Whip' (1982). Known for their energetic horn-driven sound and electrifying live performances, they scored over 20 hits on the Billboard R&B and pop charts throughout the 1980s.
