David Belove

David Belove is an American jazz bass guitarist based in the San Francisco Bay Area specializing in Afro-Cuban and Brazilian jazz. Born in Kansas City, he studied at San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and has recorded and toured with notable artists including Tito Puente, Joe Henderson, Max Roach, and Dizzy Gillespie. He is a Grammy-nominated member of the Wayne Wallace Latin Jazz Quintet and has taught at the California Jazz Conservatory.
