Dave Eshelman's Jazz Garden Big Band

Dave Eshelman is a trombonist, composer, arranger, and bandleader who served as Director of Jazz Studies at California State University, East Bay from 1984 to 2007. His Jazz Garden Big Band has become a leader in creative modern big band music, recording multiple albums for the Sea Breeze label and performing at major jazz festivals including Monterey and San Jose Jazz Festival.
