Claude V. McKnight III is a Grammy-winning vocalist and founding member of the a cappella group Take 6, which he formed at Oakwood College in 1980. The group has sold millions of recordings and won ten Grammy Awards, becoming one of the most successful contemporary vocal ensembles. McKnight has been instrumental in Take 6's music advocacy and education programs.
