Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah (born March 31, 1983, in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a Grammy-nominated trumpeter, composer, and producer who pioneered 'Stretch Music,' a genre-blending form that fuses jazz with hip-hop, trap, West African, and New Orleanian traditions. Known for his innovative 'whisper technique' and the harmonic concept of the 'forecasting cell,' Adjuah has released over a dozen studio albums and won two Edison Awards while challenging jazz conventions and redefining music education.
