Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah (formerly Christian Scott) is a six-time Grammy-nominated, two-time Edison Award-winning trumpeter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer from New Orleans. He is widely recognized as the progenitor of "Stretch Music," a genre-blind fusion approach that blends jazz with trap music, West African percussion, and contemporary styles, and has been hailed by NPR for "ushering in a new era of jazz."
