Charlie McCarthy is a saxophonist and educator who has performed and recorded with jazz legends including Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Henderson, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, and Lena Horne. A graduate of San Francisco State College and Berklee School of Music, he has built a distinguished career performing in diverse jazz settings from quintets to big bands, and currently teaches woodwinds at San Francisco City College and privately at Stanford University.
