Carmen Staaf

Pianist/composer Carmen Staaf is an active force in the NYC and global music scenes. She served as pianist and Musical Director for NEA Jazz Master Dee Dee Bridgewater for eight years and has performed at major venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Village Vanguard, and Blue Note, as well as festivals worldwide. A graduate of Tufts University and the New England Conservatory, she was mentored at the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance and is an accomplished educator, arranger, and bandleader.
