Carlos Henriquez is a Puerto Rican jazz double bassist and composer born in 1979 in the Bronx, New York. A longtime member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra since 1998, he has performed on over 25 albums and collaborated with jazz luminaries including Chucho Valdés, Paco de Lucía, and the Marsalis family. He is also a faculty member at Northwestern University's Bienen School of Music and has earned three Grammy nominations for his work in Latin jazz.
