A Bay Area legend and musical prodigy who began as a drummer before mastering guitar, Carl Lockett has spent over four decades performing at major jazz festivals and in studio sessions with Chuck Mangione, Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, and other renowned artists. Known for his electrifying technique and versatility across jazz, funk, and smooth styles, he has appeared at the North Sea, Montreux, and Monterey Jazz Festivals, as well as the 1980 Winter Olympics.
