Brittany Haas

Brittany Haas is widely regarded as one of the most influential fiddlers of her generation. Born in Northern California, she developed her distinctive style under mentors Bruce Molsky and Darol Anger, touring professionally from age fourteen. A graduate of Princeton University with degrees in Evolutionary Biology and Music Performance, Haas is known for her work with the bluegrass band Crooked Still, the ensemble Hawktail, and collaborations with artists including Dave Rawlings Machine and the Punch Brothers.
