Brandon Sanders is a West Coast-bred, New York-based jazz drummer and bandleader known for his hard-swinging, sophisticated approach to post-bop jazz. Raised in Compton, California, and inspired by his grandmother's Kansas City jazz club, he began playing drums at age 25 and went on to study at Berklee College of Music before establishing himself in New York's jazz scene. He made his acclaimed solo debut in 2023 with Compton's Finest.
