Brandon Rose is a Detroit-born jazz bassist who began his musical journey at age 5 in the city's church community, deeply influenced by Motown's soulful sounds. A Michigan State University graduate with bachelor's and master's degrees in Jazz Studies, he has been mentored by bass legends Marcus Miller and Rodney Whitaker and has collaborated with renowned artists including Terri Lyne Carrington and Patrice Rushen. His versatile artistry spans jazz, gospel, R&B, funk, and hip-hop, showcased through self-produced albums that reimagine the Motown sound with contemporary sensibilities.
