Ben Goldberg

Clarinetist, composer, and educator Ben Goldberg is a leading figure in jazz and improvised music who helped pioneer radical experiments with Ashkenazi roots music through his groundbreaking New Klezmer Trio. Known for his vibrant and inventive clarinet playing, Goldberg has released over forty albums of original music and collaborated with major figures including Joshua Redman, Bill Frisell, and Andrew Hill.
