Arturo Sandoval

A Cuban-American jazz trumpeter, pianist, and composer born in 1949, Arturo Sandoval is a protégé of Dizzy Gillespie who became one of the world's most celebrated jazz musicians. Known for his extraordinary range, technical precision, and versatility across jazz, Latin, classical, and pop genres, Sandoval is a 10-time Grammy Award winner, Emmy recipient, and 2024 Kennedy Center Honors honoree.
