Andrew Lion

Andrew Lion is a bassist and bandleader based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Bend, Oregon. He co-leads the Oakland-based Negative Press Project with pianist Ruthie Dineen, an ensemble that blends jazz fusion, Afro-Cuban, and West African influences with chamber jazz aesthetics. Lion is also a touring sideman and has performed with Jeff Campbell's band on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!
