NYC-based saxophonist and composer Alex Weitz is known for his exciting original compositions, strong group dynamics, and creative reinterpretations of standards. A 2019 second-place winner of the Michael Brecker International Saxophone Competition and two-time ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Composer Award recipient, Weitz has performed at prestigious venues including Dizzy's Club, Birdland, the Kennedy Center, and major jazz festivals worldwide.
