Alex Bugnon

Swiss jazz pianist and composer born in Montreux in 1958, Alex Bugnon is a nephew of legendary trumpeter Donald Byrd. He studied at the Paris Conservatory and Berklee School of Music before launching a prolific recording career beginning with his 1989 debut Love Season, which reached the top of the R&B charts and established him as a leading figure in contemporary jazz and smooth jazz.
