African Rhythms Alumni Ensemble

An all-star ensemble of former members of Randy Weston's African Rhythms band, led by saxophonist T.K. Blue. The group pays tribute to the late NEA Jazz Master and celebrates his pioneering integration of African musical aesthetics with jazz, performing his compositions and arrangements that showcase the influence of West African polyrhythms and Ghanaian highlife traditions.
